ChargeToCampus is an electric vehicle carsharing program operated by EVGIDE on behalf of participating California community college campuses. By registering, you agree to these terms and to EVGIDE's Member Agreement available at evgide.com.
To participate in ChargeToCampus you must: (a) be 21 years of age or older; (b) hold a valid U.S. driver's license; (c) be currently enrolled or employed at a participating campus; (d) have no active account suspensions with EVGIDE; and (e) complete EVGIDE's online driver verification process.
The standard rate is $10.00 per hour, which includes fuel, insurance, and charging. Your first ride credit (up to 1 hour) is provided as a program incentive and is subject to availability. Rates are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Vehicles must be returned to their designated campus parking spot at the end of each reservation. Vehicles may not be used for commercial purposes, rideshare services, or transportation outside of the permitted service area. Members are responsible for any traffic violations, tolls, or damage incurred during their reservation.
ChargeToCampus is funded in part by California Climate Investments, a statewide initiative administered by the California Air Resources Board, and by the California Energy Commission's Clean Transportation Program. Members may be asked to participate in program surveys or provide trip data for grant reporting purposes.
EVGIDE and participating campuses are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the ChargeToCampus program. Use of vehicles is at the member's own risk, subject to the insurance coverage provided by EVGIDE.
